My Favorite Resources for Beautiful, Sustainable Home Décor

My go-to sources for bedding, rugs, wallpaper, art, lighting, and vintage finds.

One of my favorite parts of designing a home is finding those special pieces that bring everything together. The right rug, a beautiful wallpaper, or a vintage side table can completely change how a room feels.

Over the years, I’ve collected a list of resources I return to when sourcing for my clients and projects. Some are wonderful places to find investment pieces, others offer beautiful finishing touches, and a few are local favorites worth exploring if you’re in Oregon.

I’m sharing them here so you can explore them, too. Happy sourcing!

Bedding & Linens

Beautiful bedding makes such a difference in how a bedroom feels. I love natural textures, comfortable fabrics, and pieces that make a bed feel inviting without being too precious.

  • Coyuchi — Organic bedding and natural textiles.

  • TL at Home — Bedding and home textiles.

  • Eastern Accents — Decorative bedding, pillows, and custom textile options.

  • Garnet Hill — Comfortable bedding and relaxed home essentials.

Rugs

A good rug anchors a room, adds warmth, and helps bring different colors and textures together. I often think of it as one of the foundational pieces in a space.

  • Jaipur Living — Rugs in a range of styles and materials.

  • Loloi — Rugs with a wide variety of patterns, textures, and price points.

  • Surya — Rugs and complementary home furnishings.

  • Fibreworks — Natural fiber rugs and custom options.

Wallpaper

Wallpaper is one of my favorite ways to add personality to a room. Whether it’s a subtle texture or a bold pattern, it can make a space feel much more considered.

  • Painted Paper

  • Tempaper

  • Vahallan

I especially love considering wallpaper in powder rooms, entryways, and smaller spaces where a little pattern can go a long way.

Art & Galleries

Art is what makes a home feel personal. I always encourage clients to choose pieces they connect with rather than simply choosing something to match the sofa.

Galleries & Local Art

  • Peterson Contemporary Art Gallery — Bend, Oregon

  • Toriizaka Art — Sisters, Oregon

  • Hood Avenue Art — Sisters, Oregon

  • Leftbank Art — A large online collection of art prints.

Whether you’re looking for an original piece or a print, art is an opportunity to bring more of your personality and story into your home.

Lighting

Lighting can completely change the mood of a room. I like to think beyond the overhead fixture and layer in lamps, sconces, and accent lighting to make a space feel warm and comfortable throughout the day.

  • Urban Electric Company

  • Visual Comfort

  • Hubbarton Forge

These are wonderful places to explore lighting that can serve as both a functional necessity and a design feature.

Oregon Antique & Vintage Shops

You know I love a good vintage find! Older pieces bring character, history, and a little unexpected personality into a home. Mixing vintage with newer furnishings is also one of my favorite ways to keep a space from feeling too coordinated.

If you’re exploring Oregon, here are a few places to add to your list:

  • Northwest Modern — Eugene

  • Vintage Industry — Springfield

  • Monticello Antiques — Portland

  • Back Porch — Redmond

  • Tumalo Home — Tumalo

Take your time when browsing. Sometimes you find exactly what you’re looking for, and sometimes you discover something you didn't know you needed.

A Final Thought

These are some of the resources I return to when looking for pieces that help make a home feel personal, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together.

Remember, you don't need to buy everything new to create a beautiful space. Mix old with new, invest in the pieces that matter most to you, and choose things you'll enjoy living with for years.

And don't forget to look around your own home before shopping. Sometimes moving a favorite piece to a new spot is all the refresh you need!
