Create an indoor spring during a Bend winter

I love to bring spring into my home during the cold months of winter. This is easily done with a few key materials: a frog, a ceramic pot, branches, flowers, greenery and/or herbs.

Step #1

Place a frog inside the bottom of pot and get ready to place greenery, branches and flowers.

Step 2

In a ceramic pot, pour water to fill 2 inches on the bottom.

Step #3

Place branches, flowers, greenery and/or herb stems in the frog at bottom of pot. Insert one stem at a time instead of the entire bunch all at once. Go slow, every choice is correct.

The branches will stay fresh for at least one month or more and the flowers can be interchanged every other week. What I love most about this type of flower arrangement is the creativity. My note to you. Let yourself go with this project and give your right brain permission to take over. You may be surprised at the level of artistic satisfaction this project will bring.
